Heroes, Saints, and Legends

The Wesley Woods Center of Emory University created the Heroes, Saints and Legends Award in 1990 to recognize those Georgians whose vigorous and long-productive lives continue to enrich our community. We are proud to announce that next year's honorees will be Walter E. Massey, Colleen O'Brien Nunn, and B. Franklin Skinner. On Tuesday, April 8, 2008, these exceptional individuals will be recognized at a 6:00 p.m. reception and 7:00 p.m. dinner and video presentation produced by WSB-TV, Channel 2 at the Piedmont Driving Club.

Wesley Woods is one of the premier geriatric research facilities in the country and is served by the fine physicians of Emory Healthcare who are leaders in geriatric medicine. Funds raised through this event support much-needed research for cures and treatment of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases.
