Year in Review

The mission of Wesley Woods is to help people age in healthy, ethical, and affordable ways. Without the generosity of committed donors, this mission cannot be achieved. We are extremely grateful for their dedication and loyalty.

Funds received by the Foundation of Wesley Woods are allocated to one of four major areas: 

• Charitable care for needy individuals, 
• Health and wellness programming,
• Capital improvements to residential facilities, and
• Vital research in the field of geriatric care.

Notable projects and programs in the past year have included:

• The exterior refurbishment of Asbury Harris Epworth Towers (AHET), our southwest Atlanta retirement community,
• The enlargement of AHET studio apartments into one-bedrooms,
• The planning and construction of the Branan Towers Wellness Center,
• The operation of the popular Branan Towers Wellness Program, and
• The upgrade of the Horticultural Therapy Garden at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital.
