President's Letter

When my father, the Reverend Warren Candler Budd founded Wesley Woods in 1954, he had an enlightened vision of creating a place in which older adults would be treated with respect and compassion. He never forgot that the elderly are valuable individuals who have contributed to society all of their lives and continue to do so each day. Wesley Woods still operates on this enlightened belief, and our mission is to help people age in healthy, affordable, and ethical ways.

Wesley Woods is committed to giving the best senior care possible – be it healthcare or residential care – regardless of an individual's financial capacity. Residents and patients now come to Wesley Woods later in life and more medically fragile than at any time in our history. Many who have saved all their lives find themselves in the difficult position of having outlived their resources. This is where the Foundation of Wesley Woods steps in to ensure these seniors have their basic needs met.

Through the support of friends such as you, Wesley Woods provided healthcare and residential services to almost 40,000 older adults throughout Georgia last year. Your generosity and involvement makes it possible for Wesley Woods to enlighten the community about the critical healthcare and safe housing that so many seniors need. Thank you for your loyal support of the Wesley Woods mission to help people age in healthy, affordable and ethical ways.

Together we will improve the lives of countless older adults each year.
