Rhonda Breland-Gil

Grants and Services Coordinator

Rhonda Breland-Gil joined the Foundation of Wesley Woods in the year 2000. Currently she serves as Grant Services Coordinator, and prior to this position, she served as Donor Relations Specialist. During her tenure at Wesley Woods, she has assumed responsibility for a wide range of tasks including the preparation of all grant proposals and foundation reports, the research of prospective donors, the preparation of the Foundation’s marketing materials and the biannual newsletter ThreeScore & More, the coordination of the Annual and Employee Giving Campaigns, the development of the Foundation’s first website, the management of the donor database, and the daily processing of donor gifts.

Prior to working at Wesley Woods, Rhonda worked for O’Neill & Associates, the Atlanta-based fundraising consulting firm, in an administrative capacity and as a part-time writer. Before that, she worked as a Project Manager at Bobby Dodd Industries, a vocation training facility for adults with disabilities. She initiated Bobby Dodd’s first fundraising efforts.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Rhonda came to Atlanta to attend Emory University, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1990. She has a passionate interest in history, cultural anthropology, and British studies.
