Emily Skinner

Donor Relations Specialist

Born the youngest of three children to a school teacher and a research librarian, Emily Skinner was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. After graduating from high school as an AP Scholar, Emily attended Presbyterian College, a small liberal arts college located in Clinton, SC. During her four years at PC, Emily ran varsity cross country for three years, volunteered with the Young at Hearts Program at the Presbyterian Home in Clinton, serving as coordinator for this program her junior and senior year.

Emily was an active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, serving as treasurer her sophomore through junior year and President her junior and senior year. It was as President that she founded the Pink Out Cookout, a campus wide annual event that raises money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Upon graduation in 2007, Emily moved to Atlanta and began working at the Foundation in December of 2007.

As Donor Relations Specialist, Emily is responsible for the daily processing of checks and acknowledgement letters. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the various Wesley Woods facilities.
